This is a hunter-focused Business Development Manager position.Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching to closing and ongoing account growth.If you love the thrill of opening doors, winning logos, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships, this is for you.What You'll Be Doing:Hunting new business inRetail Packaging SolutionsConverting qualified leads and self-generated opportunities into profitable, long-term accountsEnd-to-end sales management: from supplier liaison to proposal, pricing,



delivery and after-salesGrowing and nurturing a small portfolio of existing accounts to unlock further growthDeveloping Win:Win proposals and responding to tendersManaging your sales budget and dynamic forecasting by customer / productKeeping a sharp eye on competitor activity, product trends and pricing across ANZRepresenting JMP at industry events and client functionsWhat You'll Bring:Proven track record as aHunter / Recent Business Development Manager- you love new businessExperience inretail packaging, food packaging, or general packaging solutionsis highly regardedExperience selling into major retail, FMCG, or manufacturing accounts is a big plusA natural relationship builder who listens first, then solvesCommercial acumen - you can build a proposal, manage a forecast, and report on your numbersExcellent communication, negotiation and time management skillsProficiency in MS Office;SAPexperience preferred but not essentialA team player with a can-do attitude and a sense of humourWhat's On Offer:Competitive packageAll tools of trade - laptop, phone etc.Supportive, fast-paced, and down-to-earth team cultureCareer growth within the wider SMYA GroupReady to hunt?
