Seismic Drilling Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter/HD Diesel Fitter to join our team in Wangara, WA.
This position is a critical role in maintaining and repairing our heavy drilling equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.This is a FIFO/DIDO position out of Perth, Western Australia with periodic work required to be carried out in our Wangara Workshop.What you'll be doingPerforming scheduled servicing and maintenance on a range of heavy drilling rigs and equipmentDiagnosing and repairing mechanical,



electrical and hydraulic faults on drilling rigs and support vehiclesOrdering and maintaining a stock of parts and consumables required for repairs and maintenanceProviding technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced team membersEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulationsWhat we're looking forFormal trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or equivalentExperience in a similar role, ideally within the mining or resources sector (not essential)Robust mechanical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issuesGood working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systemsExcellent attitude towards safety, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workStrong communication and teamwork skillsCurrent driver's licence and ability to work in remote locationsUnrestricted HR licence or willing to obtainNational Police Clearance and ability to pass medical including drug screenSenior First AidApplicants must have the right to work in Australia,
