We need a Registered Nurse who will grow with the practice as its nursing services expand.About the roleYou will be the practice nurse for the GPs and their patients, working through Best Practice.
The practice is supported by an experienced Operations Manager who is on-site regularly and contactable every day for guidance, training and anything that needs a management decision.This is a genuine growth role.
The right person will be trained into nurse-led services, including care plans, health assessments and immunisation clinics, as the practice grows.Your day‐to‐day dutiesImmunisations and the vaccine cold chain, including the fridge log and data loggerInfection control and reprocessing, and sterile stockEmergency trolley and AED checks,



and doctor's bag checksMedicines and samples storageClinical recalls and the recall systemCare plans and health assessments with the GPsKeeping the treatment room and its emergency equipment ready for the doctorsClinical documentation to the practice's standardsReporting daily issues, incidents and operational concerns to the Operations ManagerWhat we're looking forCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with AhpraGeneral practice experience is preferred, but full training is provided for the right applicantStrong communication skills and a professional, calm manner with patientsReliable, punctual and committed, with the ambition to grow with the practiceAble to work independently while staying in close contact with the Operations ManagerDiscretion with patient information and a warm, respectful presence with patientsWhat's on offerThis is a full‐time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours a week, at $44 to $50 an hour plus super, with an experienced Operations Manager behind you and a transparent path to grow with the practice as its nurse‐led services expand.
