With a growing portfolio across Australia, RES continues to play a key role in delivering affordable, zero-carbon energy.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or renewable energy technician to join the operations and maintenance team supporting the ongoing performance of a large-scale solar asset.As an Electrical Technician, you will support the safe and efficient operation of the solar farm through maintenance, inspections and technical troubleshooting.Responsibilities include:Performing routine and advanced maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systemsDiagnosing faults and resolving complex technical issues, including repairing or replacing faulty componentsSupporting the development and implementation of maintenance SOPs and proceduresEnsuring all maintenance activities comply with site safety standards and operational requirementsMaintaining accurate records of maintenance,



repairs and inspectionsProviding leadership and mentorship to junior technicians where requiredCollaborating with other departments to ensure efficient site operationsAssisting with the installation and commissioning of current systems and equipmentResponding to emergency maintenance requests when requiredContributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performanceRequired ExperienceExtensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair and installationExperience working on industrial, utility-scale solar, renewable energy or similar infrastructure projectsStrong fault finding and troubleshooting capabilityAbility to work both independently and as part of a site-based teamRequired QualificationsValid QLD Electrical Supervisors or Contractor's LicenceValid Driver's LicenceCurrent LVR/CPR certificateCurrent First Aid certificateWhy Join?
