This is a hands on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working with sheet metal and steel building products used across commercial and residential projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal and finished products throughout the facilityLoad and unload trucks with steel roofing,



walling and other oversized materialsFeed sheet metal into and out of production machinery and roll-forming linesApply adhesive coatings and protective films to finished productsSafely load steel coils onto mills and production equipmentComplete load restraint and strapping duties for transportOperate gantry cranes (training provided)Perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods throughout the shiftWork closely with production and dispatch teams to meet daily targetsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentAbout YouCurrent LF Forklift LicenceExperience operating forklifts in manufacturing, warehouse or steel environmentsComfortable handling long-length or non-standard materialsPhysically fit and capable of manual handling dutiesStrong commitment to workplace safetyGantry crane experience highly regarded but not essentialReliable, team-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environmentEssential RequirementsCurrent LF Forklift LicencePrevious experience loading steel, timber, piping, or oversized productsExperience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, yard, or warehouse environmentsUnderstanding of load restraint and safe loading practicesAbility to work day shiftStrong commitment to safety and teamworkReliable transport and strong work ethic
