This performance and the strength of the portfolio underpin the Company's purpose of growing long-term value for shareholders, our people, and our communities by mining safely and responsibly.Job DescriptionThe opportunityWe are currently looking for an experienced Paste Plant Operator to join our team.Reporting to the Paste Fill Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the paste plant, ensuring paste quality and production requirements are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, housekeeping and operational excellence.As a key member of the Paste Fill team, you will monitor and control paste production processes, complete inspections and operational checks, coordinate paste delivery activities with underground operations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.




This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a technically specialised area of underground mining while supporting safe and reliable production outcomes.This is a FIFO role, working on a 2:2 roster ex-Perth.The main responsibilities of this role include:Operate and monitor paste plant systems to achieve production and quality targetsControl paste quality parameters including density, slump, flow rate, pressure and cement additionConduct pre-start inspections, risk assessments and workplace inspectionsComplete plant start-ups, shutdowns, flushing activities and operational changeoversCoordinate and communicate effectively with underground paste crews and site stakeholdersMaintain accurate operational records, reports and shift handoversIdentify, report and assist with troubleshooting plant faults and operational issuesPerform QA/QC sampling and testing activitiesSupport plant commissioning, optimisation and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and environmental complianceDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout youTo be successful for this role, you will have:Strong understanding of plant operating procedures, including start-up, shutdown and monitoring activitiesDemonstrated commitment to safe work practices,
