We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing telehealth healthcare team supporting Australian veterans.
This is a fully remote, casual position paying $45 per hour, initially offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, to assist with clearing an existing backlog.
Once the backlog has been addressed, ongoing hours will be determined by operational demand and workload requirements.
There is potential for the position to transition into permanent part-time or full-time employment in the future, depending on business needs and suitability.
About the Role
You will provide support to patients via telehealth, working alongside a team of doctors and other healthcare professionals.
The role involves patient communication, clinical support, triage, care coordination and following up on patient requests.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
This role would suit a nurse who is confident working independently, highly organised and comfortable working in a busy online healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting patient consultations via telehealth
Taking accurate and detailed clinical notes during consultations
Working with GPs and the wider clinical team
Managing your own workload and working independently
Managing appointment bookings and keeping the consultation schedule running smoothly
Communicating professionally and compassionately with patients
Managing upset,



frustrated or distressed patients calmly and appropriately
Identifying matters requiring escalation and referring to the appropriate member of the clinical team
Following established clinical processes and procedures
Providing a high standard of patient care and maintaining accurate documentation
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently from home
Confident using technology and online clinical systems
Calm, professional and compassionate approach
Experience working with veterans or within veteran healthcare is highly regarded
What We Offer

Requirements
You will need:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Your own reliable computer/laptop suitable for telehealth
Reliable, high-speed internet
A quiet and professional home workspace
Availability to initially work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Flexibility regarding ongoing hours as operational needs change
