An established and reputable Brisbane law firm legal practice is looking for an Accounts Officer to join its team full-time.
If you're the person who spots the discrepancy everyone else missed, loves a well-organised spreadsheet and takes pride in getting the details right, this could be your kind of role.Your numbers gameWorking alongside and closely with the Operations & Finance Manager, you'll help keep the firm's financial operations running smoothly, with responsibilities spanning:Monthly client billing cycle, invoicing and WIP managementAccounts payable, receivable and debtor follow-upBank and credit card reconciliationsReceipts,



payments and trust accounting supportMonth-end reporting and Excel-based financial analysisAd hoc financial analysis and advice to support business decisionsOccasionally stepping in to assist with payrollResolving discrepancies and finding smarter ways to workWhat makes you the right fit?
At least two (2) years of experience across billing and general accounts, within the legal industry (experience from other professional services environments will be considered)Strong Excel skills and confidence navigating financial systemsAn eagle eye for detail and a commitment to accuracyThe initiative to take ownership, meet deadlines and follow things throughA friendly, approachable personality and the confidence to chase answers when neededYour next move?
