Immediate Start.About the roleChurches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable Senior Home Care Workers.
You will provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, medication and social support as well as some office-based responsibilities.
There will be times when you will contribute to planning and coordination from our office.
As a senior team member, you will also be available for on-call support as the need arises, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care when they need it most.
As a Senior Home Care Worker, you will:Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homesAssist with medications and personal caresAssist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation and shoppingSupport clients with transport to appointments and community activitiesEncourage independence and well-being in a home environmentParticipate in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurateTrain and mentor Home Care Workers, including completing annual performance appraisalsWhat we're looking forAre you somebody who is passionate about delivering quality Home Care services to the local community?

Our ideal candidateIs reliable, adaptable and has well developed communication skills – occasional early starts are required so this role will not suit school hours workersQualifications and experienceCertificate III in Individual Support or higher (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred)Medication qualified – or willing to obtainFirst Aid and CPR qualificationPolice Check (current or willing to obtain)Minimum of 2 years' experience in direct support requiredA current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role.
