Eagles Plumbing Supplies Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position based in West Gosford NSW ****.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation by managing our accounts payable function with accuracy and efficiency.
You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and ensuring all financial records are maintained to the highest standard.
This position is integral to our finance operations and directly supports the smooth running of our business.Key responsibilitiesProcess and verify invoices from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policiesEnter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detailReconcile invoices with purchase orders and delivery documentationProcess payments to suppliers in a timely and efficient mannerMaintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactionsPrepare and distribute payment reports to relevant departmentsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies or payment queriesManage supplier communications regarding invoices and payment termsSupport month-end and year-end closing proceduresContribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and proceduresWhat we're looking forProven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance administration roleProficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlines consistentlyStrong numerical and analytical abilitiesProfessional communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamUnderstanding of accounts payable best practices and compliance requirementsRelevant qualifications or certifications in accounting or finance (preferred)What we offerW.
