Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join their night shift team.This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring production machinery operates safely and efficiently.What's on offer:Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Monday night to Saturday morning)Casual ongoing contract with full-time hours and strong potential for permanent employmentStable and supportive team environmentOpportunity to work in a highly regulated manufacturing facilityKey Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to:Monitoring and ensuring all production machinery is operating efficientlySetting up, dismantling, adjusting, and troubleshooting production equipmentPerforming corrective maintenance and assisting with preventative maintenance activitiesDiagnosing mechanical faults and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtimeUsing a range of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasksCleaning, servicing,



and reassembling production equipmentSupporting production schedules and operational requirementsMaintaining accurate batch records and maintenance documentationAdhering to all company procedures, safety requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Operating forklifts as requiredContributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production areaSkills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related disciplineExposure to preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing quality systemsPrevious experience in machine setting, machine operation, or maintenance within a manufacturing environmentStrong hands-on experience using mechanical tools and equipmentDemonstrated experience performing corrective maintenance and fault-finding activitiesStrong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skillsAbility to identify, analyse, and resolve equipment issues efficientlyA proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvementExcellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsA current Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
