We're based in Bondi Junction and work closely across our support, professional services and development teams.About the roleYou'll analyse, implement, maintain and support NEXA's systems, network infrastructure and security controls, working with customers, end users, vendors and internal teams to deliver reliable, secure and well-documented technology solutions.
You'll report to the Support and Maintenance Manager as part of the Support Team.What you'll doAnalyse and interpret systems and network architecture specifications to support integration of hardware, software and communications systemsInstall, configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, servers and workstationsMonitor network performance, capacity and usage trends, and diagnose and resolve system and network faultsProvide support for SQL Server, IIS and application servers, including configuration and performance optimisationImplement and administer security protocols,



access controls and backup procedures, and manage security updates and patch deploymentsProvide incident response and troubleshooting for system and security-related issuesGather and document client requirements and recommend technology-based improvementsPrepare and maintain network documentation, asset inventories, change logs and configuration recordsWhat you'll bringDiploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related fieldMinimum 1 year of experience in an IT Support Analyst role or related fieldHands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) and Windows server environmentsWorking knowledge of SQL Server and IISUnderstanding of security controls, patching and backup proceduresStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with transparent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiencesAttention to detail in documentation and record-keeping
