Mutual trust and respect are at the heart of everything we do.The RoleWe are seeking an Associate with between 3-5 years' PQE to join our Brisbane Corporate Advisory team.This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on M&A; transactions, shareholder arrangements and strategic advisory work across a diverse range of industries and clients, including for technology businesses, founders and investors.
You will work closely with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused advice in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
The successful candidate will enjoy a high level of responsibility, direct client engagement and exposure to high-quality transactional work.Your key responsibilities will include:Advising on mergers and acquisitionsDrafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents and a range of commercial agreements, including service,



supply and other operational agreementsPreparing and advising on shareholder agreements and related governance documentationAssisting with capital raises, investments and corporate restructuresConducting due diligence and managing transaction workstreamsProviding strategic legal advice to clients throughout the transaction lifecycleWho We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:Experience in a reputable corporate and commercial practice, ideally 3-5 PQE, or equivalent in-house experience.
