We know the industry well, and we work closely with clients and candidates to make placements that last in a competitive Australian market.The OpportunityWe're working with a Tier 1 main contractor to find an experienced Civil Project Engineer for major renewable energy projects in Western Australia.
The contract role is on a drive-in drive-out (DIDO) 3:1 roster and starts immediately.You'll be part of the delivery team and help manage the civil works package from start to finish.
That covers design coordination, subcontractor management, cost control and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the delivery of civil works, including earthworks, roads, drainage and site developmentManage subcontractors, including scope reviews, progress tracking, coordination and performanceTrack costs and report on them, including forecasting, progress claims, variations and budget monitoringPrepare and review civil designs, and coordinate with design consultants and stakeholders from other disciplinesOversee stormwater and drainage work so it meets the design,



local authority rules and Australian StandardsMonitor progress against the program and flag risks, delays and ways to recover timeCarry out quality control inspections and manage ITPs, hold points and as-built recordsGive timely engineering input to resolve site issues and RFIsPrepare technical reports, progress updates and project recordsSupport a protected work culture and follow HSE requirementsAbout YouA Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related fieldProven experience as a Project Engineer with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractorExperience on renewable energy, infrastructure or land development projects (solar, wind or BESS is highly regarded)A strong background in civil design, site development and stormwater managementHands-on experience with subcontractor management and cost trackingGood knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and local authority requirementsSkill with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar softwareStrong organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage several priorities at onceClear written and spoken communication skills for working with contractors, consultants and clientsWA project experience is an advantageWhat's on OfferDIDO 3:1 rosterImmediate start on a long-term renewable energy projectThe chance to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor
