The company is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials and works regularly with the FDA.
It is a lean team of around 20, with research and development delivered through contract manufacturers.The current CFO/Company Secretary, who has been with the business for five years, is moving towards semi-retirement.
You'll own the finance and governance agenda and be a key partner to the Board and executive team.The roleLead ASX compliance and corporate governanceContribute to strategic planning and decision makingOwn cash flow management and keep the leadership team across the positionPrepare Board communications and reporting,



and write Board proposalsPerform financial analysisLead and support an experienced accountant who handles much of the day-to-day finance operationBuild relationships with key stakeholders and develop a solid understanding of the regulatory environmentAbout youQualified accountant (CA or CPA)Experience as a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance roleExposure to a listed environment is highly regardedStrong understanding of corporate governance and compliance obligationsConfident working with the Board and presenting to senior stakeholdersHands-on approach, comfortable with MYOB and ExcelStrategic mindset with solid analytical and cash flow management skillsInterest in the biotech and regulatory spaceWhat's on offerA standalone senior finance role with real ownership and visibilityDirect exposure to the Board and strategic decision makingAn ASX-listed biotech at an exciting clinical stageA small, collaborative team of around 20A package of up to $230k, plus a 10% bonusFlexibility on days and hours for the right candidate
