We're looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to own the Aushorse and TBA social channels and grow our audiences in Australia and around the world.About usAushorse promotes Australian thoroughbreds to owners, investors and breeders worldwide.
Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA) is the national peak body for the breeding industry.
Together, we work to keep Australia a premier source of elite thoroughbreds.About the roleThis is a newly created, hands-on role.
You'll be at the sales, race days and industry events, capturing content and turning it into posts people engage with.
It suits someone creative and organised who's ready to take ownership.What you'll doRun the Aushorse and TBA channels day to day: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and VimeoPlan the content calendar, and schedule, publish and optimise postsCapture short-form video and photos at shoots, sales and eventsWrite captions and campaign copy,



and create simple graphics from brand templatesPublish and maintain video and content on the Aushorse website, including SEOManage comments and messages, and build a positive online communitySupport campaigns, events and EDMsReport monthly on performance and recommend what to do nextWhat you'll bring3+ years managing social media and digital content for a brand, organisation or publisherA track record of growing online audiencesStrong copywriting and editing skillsConfidence shooting photos and short-form video in quick-moving environmentsExperience with website CMS and social scheduling toolsSkills in Canva, Illustrator and Photoshop, and an interest in using AI toolsThe ability to read performance data and act on itStrong organisation and a willingness to travelExperience in racing, breeding or sport highly regardedA new role you can shape from day oneTravel to major thoroughbred sales, race meetings and industry eventsWork across two leading industry brandsBased in Melbourne or Sydney, with hybrid working
