We're looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic / Field Service Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair a range of heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
This is an excellent chance for a qualified mechanic with experience in heavy plant, diesel engines or earthmoving equipment who enjoys hands-on technical work, fault-finding and providing practical solutions to equipment issues.
You'll be part of a specialised service team, working with a diverse range of machinery while receiving a competitive salary package and opportunities to develop your technical expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and equipmentDiagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and diesel engine faultsPerforming repairs and maintenance on a range of heavy machineryResponding to equipment breakdowns and resolving technical issuesInspecting machinery to identify faults and ensure safe,



reliable operationConducting preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtimeProviding technical support and completing service work to a high standardMaintaining accurate service records and following workplace safety proceduresWhat You'll NeedCertificate III in Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel, Engineering or a related mechanical tradePrevious experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, diesel-powered machinery or similar equipmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic and diesel engine systemsExperience with Cummins engines, heavy plant or earthmoving equipment would be highly regardedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairsProfessional communication skills and a commitment to workplace safetyCurrent driver's licenceMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessmentWhy Work With Us?
