Real Ownership from day one.You will join our growing national Disputes + Litigation team, working directly with a Team Lead and the Head of Disputes + Litigation.
You'll run a varied and high volume caseload end-to‐end, including your own court appearances, spanning finance guarantor disputes, insolvency, financier disputes and recoveries, and general asset recovery clients.The roleYour work will include:Financier disputes and recoveries, from demand through to judgment and enforcement, including repossession and sale, recovery of pooled assets and mortgagee recoveriesFinance guarantor disputes, including challenges to guarantees and securitiesCreditor‐side insolvency matters, such as statutory demands, winding up applications and bankruptcy noticesAdvice on PPSR registrations and priority disputes, and on National Credit Code default and hardship requirementsBuilding your own client relationships as a trusted adviserContributing to client acquisition and retention for the teamMentoring and supporting other team membersWhat you'll bring6–10 PQE in commercial litigation, ideally with a strong debt,



recovery or enforcement componentConfidence running your own file load and appearances, including in state and federal courts, with minimal supervisionSharp commercial judgement, including a clear‐eyed view of recovery prospects and the cost of recovery against the value of the claimComfort with technology and enthusiasm for current tools, including AIExperience acting for financiers, lenders or asset finance and pooling clientsCreditor‐side insolvency experience (statutory demands, winding up applications, bankruptcy notices) and guarantor disputesWorking knowledge of the PPSA, the National Credit Code and the law of guarantees and securitiesHaven't acted for financiers before?
