As well as the rooms, the property offers room service dining, function and conference rooms, a pool, a gym and barbecue areas.
Most of our guests are corporate travellers and event visitors.
The motel is owned and operated by Deltine Capital.We're looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our team on a casual basis, working about ***** hours a week.
Shifts are on weekdays (PM) and weekends (AM and PM).
About the roleAs a Guest Service Agent, you're the first person our guests deal with.
We want someone who enjoys solving problems, gets on easily with people and takes pride in good service.
You'll cover all parts of front office reception, from check-in/out to end of shift reconciliation.Preparing arrivals and room keysChecking guests in/out and processing paymentsManaging room allocations and the booking chart in RMSHandling reservations and enquiries by phone, email,



walk-in and online travel agentsManaging the front office inbox and following up on emailsTaking room service orders for the kitchen and barHelping with corporate account and function enquiriesWorking with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready on time and guest requests accommodatedLooking for chances to turn enquiries into bookings and encourage guests to come backThe ideal candidatePrevious experience in hotels, hospitality, tourism or customer service essentialConfident on a computer, including Outlook, Word and Excel RMS Cloud or similar reservation system experience is an advantage; full training providedA explicit, skilled phone manner and good written EnglishOrganised and accurate, especially with payments and bookingsHigh standards of personal presentationAvailable for mornings, afternoons or evenings, including weekends and public holidays.
