St Andrews is seeking a reliable and hands-on General Services Officer to join our aged care team across our Ballina and Byron Bay facilities in a casual capacity.
This role is responsible for cleaning and laundry duties, helping us maintain a protected, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties across designated areas in line with infection control and hygiene standards
Operate commercial laundry equipment and manage resident and facility laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning residents' personal items to their rooms
Maintain cleaning and laundry supplies and report any equipment faults
Follow WHS procedures at all times
Support a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
About you




Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience (aged care or commercial setting preferred but not essential)
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check (at the organisation's expense)
Willing to undergo an Optimum Allied Health Pre-Placement Health Assessment (at the organisation's expense)
A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
Own transport required
Multi-site flexibility required to work across all St Andrews sites, including Ballina and Byron Bay sites
Must already hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
