Community Support Worker- Personal Care- Illawarra RegionPersonal Care & Disability Support WorkerSCHADS Home Care - Disability - Level 2Wollongong, NSW | Morning & Evening Shifts | OngoingWe are seeking experienced Personal Care & Disability Support Workers to support participants across the Wollongong region, ranging from general personal care to complex, high-needs support involving bowel management and enema care.We have multiple ongoing opportunities available for reliable, experienced workers who are committed to providing secure, respectful and person-centred support.These roles are suited to experienced support workers, with specialist positions requiring demonstrated bowel-care competency.About the Role:Depending on the participant and level of support required, duties may include:Personal hygiene, showering, toileting and dressingBowel management routines and enema administrationAssistance with daily living activities and meal preparationSafe transfers and manual handlingMaintaining hygiene and infection control standardsPromoting participant dignity, independence and choiceKey Responsibilities:Provide high-level personal care, including hygiene, toileting,



and dressingPerform bowel care and enema administration in line with care plansMaintain strict infection control standardsAssist with meal preparation and domestic tasksSupport safe transfers and basic manual handlingCommunicate professionally with the support team and managementPrioritise participant dignity, safety, and wellbeing at all timesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressingPerform bowel care and enema administration in line with care plansMaintain strict infection control standardsAssist with meal preparation and domestic tasksSupport safe transfers and basic manual handlingCommunicate professionally with the support team and managementPrioritise participant dignity, safety, and wellbeing at all timesStrong experience providing personal care to participants with high support needsAbility to commit to 4+ days availabilityAbility to work *****+ hours per weekNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)Strong understanding of infection control and safe care practicesDriver's License and Car (Mandatory)
