We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Officer to support the upkeep of our Zion Retirement Living community, ensuring facilities, gardens and shared spaces are safe, functional and well presented.Location: Gympie - QLDRole Type: Part-Time (40 hrs fortnight)Remuneration: $***** - $***** ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefitsAbout The RoleIn this hands‐on role, you'll manage the day-to-day maintenance of buildings, gardens, and grounds, ensuring everything is secure, tidy, and well‐kept.Key Responsibilities IncludeGeneral maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens, and common areasPerforming scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaningIdentifying and reporting new risks while working to minimise existing ones.Undertaking administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.Managing external contractors and minor building projectsUsing equipment and materials safely and responsiblyCleaning of Studio and Admin spaces, general light dutiesYour work will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff,



and visitors.Gardening experience essential; aged care or retirement living experience desirableAbout YouExperience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping within an aged care setting or a similar environment.Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detailAbility to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedulesA team player with a proactive attitude, proven ability to demonstrate a customer service focus.Valid Police Check and Queensland Driver's LicenceValid NDIS Worker Screening clearanceWhy Choose Us?
