About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time Retail Store Assistant to join our team at Pacific Green Grocery in St Marys.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers and being part of a supportive team.
You will play an important role in ensuring our store runs smoothly, shelves are well stocked, products are presented to a high standard and customers receive a positive shopping experience.
Position details:
Employment type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)Location: St Marys, NSWRoster: Rotating fortnightly rosterWeekend availability is essentialPublic holiday availability may be required
Key responsibilities
Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer serviceOperate POS systems and process cash, EFTPOS and other customer transactions accuratelyReplenish shelves,



fridges and freezers to maintain stock availabilityEnsure products are displayed neatly, correctly priced and presented to a high standardAssist with receiving, unpacking and organising stock deliveriesRotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and monitor product expiry datesMaintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, including shelves, checkout areas and storage spacesAssist customers with product enquiries and locating itemsMonitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements to managementFollow store procedures, food safety standards and workplace health and safety requirementsWork collaboratively with team members to complete daily tasks efficientlyAssist with general store duties and other operational tasks as required
About you
Previous experience in grocery or supermarket environments is essentialStrong customer service and communication skillsA friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learnReliable, punctual and committed to your responsibilitiesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentGood organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable with physical duties, including standing for extended periods, replenishing shelves and safely handling stockBasic computer skills and confidence using POS systemsAvailability to work weekends and public holidays as required
