Job Description
As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and play an important role in creating a positive, seamless experience from the moment they contact or enter the practice.
Working closely with our dentists, oral health therapist, Practice Manager and dental assisting team, you'll help coordinate appointments, manage patient enquiries and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
What your days look like:
Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional serviceManaging appointments, the appointment book and patient schedulingHandling patient enquiries in person,



over the phone and through other communication channelsMaintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentialityCoordinating with the clinical team to support efficient patient flowDiscussing treatment appointments and assisting patients with treatment-related enquiriesSupporting administrative tasks, including patient payments and processing transactionsAssisting with recalls, confirmations and follow-up appointmentsHelping maintain an organised, welcoming reception and waiting area
Hours of work:
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with every second Friday off and occasional Saturday work may be required
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in areception role is essential preferably dental or healthcareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesConfidence using computer systems and dental practice management softwareA professional, friendly and patient-focused approachStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate recordsA proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
