With continued growth and exciting projects across Victoria, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at our Geelong Head Office.The RoleAs our new Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our accounts payable function.
You'll take ownership of end-to-end accounts payable processes, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.Working closely with our finance and operational teams, you'll help maintain financial accuracy, improve processes, and support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing business.We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, hands-on team.What You'll Be DoingManaging the end-to-end accounts payable function, including invoice processing, coding, approvals,



and payment preparationProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyPreparing and coordinating weekly supplier payment runsReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely mannerEnsuring invoices and expenses are accurately allocated to the correct projects, cost codes, and business unitsMaintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring compliance with internal processesBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersManaging supplier enquiries and resolving payment or invoice issues proactivelyMonitoring outstanding invoices and ensuring payments are made in accordance with agreed termsAssisting with month-end processes, including accounts payable reconciliations and accrualsIdentifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the accounts payable functionSupporting the broader finance team with reporting, administration, and other financial tasks as requiredAbout YouProven experience in a Senior Accounts Payable Officer or similar role, ideally within a busy, project-based environmentStrong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes and financial controlsPrevious experience in construction, civil contracting, manufacturing, logistics,



or a similar industry will be highly regardedExperience with project cost coding and allocating expenses across multiple projectsStrong reconciliation skills and exceptional attention to detailConfident using accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and digital invoice processing systemsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and operational teamsA proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a willingness to take ownership and get things doneA genuine team player who enjoys contributing to a positive and supportive workplaceWhy Keystone Civil?
