Job Description06th October, ****THIS POSITION OFFERSBase salary negotiable for suitably experienced dealership accountants$100,000 + superExcellent facilities in Port Melbourne location5 day working week Mon-Fri, with some flexibilityFantastic culture and supportive working environmentABOUT THE COMPANY A multi-site privately owned Dealership Group that is currently expanding.
ABOUT THE ROLEWorking closely with the CFO, senior management and the broader Accounts and Administration team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining solid financial controls across the business.
You will play an important role in month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial analysis and ensuring the integrity of our dealership accounting records and systems.
YOUR GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONPrepare and complete monthly management accounts and month-end reportingPrepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial reportsComplete and review bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliationsMaintain accurate financial records across dealership and wholesale operationsReview transactions, journals, accruals and financial adjustmentsAssist with budgeting, forecasting and management reportingMonitor financial performance and identify discrepancies or areas requiring investigationSupport accurate vehicle stock,



inventory and transaction accountingAssist with BAS, statutory reporting and other financial compliance requirementsWE ARE LOOKING FORA bachelors degree in AccountingMust have experience in Automotive as a Dealership Assistant Accountant or Dealership AccountantMeticulous attention to detail and organisational skillsA fast paced, efficient worker with experience in New and Used CarsA strong communicator who ensures everyone is kept well informed of status and processesHOW TO APPLY - Via the APPLY now tab (CV preferably in WORD format).
