Temporary 4 week, 3-Day Nanny – Glebe NSWAdditional Possible Dates (TBC):25th November – Evening babysitting15th December – Evening babysitting23rd December – Daytime nanny careFurther dates may become available.Our lovely Glebe family is seeking a warm, nurturing and experienced temporary nanny to care for their two young boys, aged 3 years and 1 year.The family is looking for a reliable, patient and engaging nanny who can confidently care for both children, supporting their daily routines while creating a secure, happy and loving environment.The role involves preparing meals, bottles and snacks, assisting with naps and nappy changes, and keeping the boys entertained through age-appropriate play, activities, walks and outings.The ideal nanny will be confident managing the different developmental needs of a toddler and a young child, providing plenty of opportunities for play, exploration and learning while maintaining a calm and nurturing approach.The family would also appreciate assistance with light child-related household duties, including tidying up after meals and activities and keeping the children's play areas organised.In addition to the regular Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday schedule, there may be opportunities for additional daytime care and evening babysitting throughout November and December, with further dates potentially becoming available.Duties & Responsibilities include:Providing warm, nurturing and attentive careConfidently supervising and caring for both childrenPreparing and serving age-appropriate meals,



bottles and snacksSupporting the children's usual routines, including naps and bedtime when requiredNappy changes, toileting assistance and maintaining good hygienePlanning and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities and developmental playEncouraging creativity, exploration and learning through playTaking the children for walks and local outingsProviding comfort, patience and reassurance when neededTidying up after meals, playtime and activitiesKeeping children's play areas, toys and belongings clean and organisedMaintaining open communication with the parents regarding the children's routines and wellbeingTo apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude and qualifications:Warm, nurturing, patient and reliable personalityPrevious professional nanny and/or childcare experience with toddlers and young childrenConfidence caring for two young children of different agesSound understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate activitiesExperience supporting toddler routines, including meals, naps and toiletingAbility to confidently provide sole-charge care for both childrenEnergetic, engaging and genuinely passionate about working with childrenFlexible and adaptable to the family's routines and additional care requirementsReliable availability on Wednesdays, Saturdays and SundaysNon-smokerA minimum of two child-related referencesCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent First Aid and CPR Certificate, including infant CPRCurrent National Police CheckExcellent communication and English skills
