We are currently recruiting casual Support Workers to work across the South Australia, Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Logan, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Brisbane and Beaudesert regions.Role and ResponsibilityProvide support to individuals, across numerous mediums and in various ways with constant integrity and tenacityFacilitating daily personal hygiene and dressing tasksDeliver person-centred support in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Practice Standards and Birch Care policiesRepresent the Birch Care brand with enthusiasm and prideLiaise extensively with other staff to ensure the overall smooth and consistent running of the serviceResponsibly administering medication to clients and assessing the client to determine continuing needsMaintaining records of client progressEssential Skills and QualificationsCertificate III in Individual Support or Disability Certificate IV or equivalentCurrent Police Check (Not older than 6 Months)Current Working with Children Check – Blue CardCurrent First Aid Certificate / CPRCurrent driver's licence with a fully insured & registered vehicleExperience in working in the mental health industry is preferredExperience in working with Autism and other disabilities is preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in the industry is preferredAbility to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance prior to commencementAbility to complete an NDIS Worker Screening ModuleIf you are looking to join a focused and driven team, have the drive to succeed and take pride in providing a high-quality person-centred services, we want to hear from you!
