Geelong Leather Culcairn | Part-Time Evening PositionGeelong Leather located in Culcairn is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Machine Cleaner to join our production team.This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining our department machines to ensure equipment is kept clean, safe and ready for production.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures and is willing to learn.No previous experience is necessary, as training will be provided to the successful applicant.About the RoleDays: 5 days per week, Monday to FridayHours: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pmDuration: 5 hours per shiftPays $***** per hour plus night shift loading & monthly bonus (conditions apply)Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include:Cleaning production machines at the end of the shift.Removing leather, flesh, residue and waste materials from machinery.Cleaning machine components and surrounding work areas.Using cleaning equipment and tools safely and correctly.Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.Ensuring machines and work areas are left clean and ready for the next production shift.Reporting any equipment damage,



hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.Following all cleaning procedures and instructions provided.About YouThe successful applicant will:Be physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties.Be reliable, punctual and committed to attending scheduled shifts.Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.Be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.Be able to follow instructions and work independently.Have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining a clean workplace.Be willing to learn current skills and follow established cleaning procedures.Previous industrial cleaning or machinery cleaning experience is an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.Pre-Employment RequirementsThe successful applicant will be required to:Complete a pre-employment functional assessment.Undertake drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the company's zero-tolerance policy.Meet the site's Q Fever vaccination requirements.Applicants must have compliant working rights in Australia.
