In this rewarding role, you will supervise, train, and support a team of employees with intellectual disability as they carry out meaningful bush regeneration and garden maintenance work.This exciting position is part of Bushlink, our innovative not-for-profit business dedicated to creating genuine and valued employment opportunities for people with disability in supported teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, train, and support team members with intellectual disability to perform onsite environmental tasksCarry out best-practice bush regeneration and gardening activities, including weeding, planting, pruning, rubbish removal, and maintaining tidy and safe worksitesLiaise with the back office regarding work tasks, safety consultation,



and reportingTransport the team and equipment safely between the Brookvale base and work sites (Bushlink vehicle provided)Engage with school students through our Schools Inclusion Program and have a current Working With Children CheckAssist with onsite training or administration tasks during inclement weatherProvide first aid when necessaryAttend monthly Bushlink staff meetingsKey RequirementsDemonstrated field experience in bush regeneration, professional gardening or similarAbility to supervise and support small teamsUnderstanding of secure work principles and practiceCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent Driver LicenceCurrent Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Diploma or Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalentExperience supporting people with disabilityStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience working with volunteers, corporate groups, or school students
