The Bureau of Meteorology seeks an Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation technician or engineer for a remote posting on Willis Island for about six months. The TO4 role involves working as part of a four‑person team, with departures from Cairns planned for April 2027 and a separate October 2027 deployment window.

Willis Island is Australia’s only permanently inhabited island in the Coral Sea, located about 450 km east of Cairns.
