You’re supporting children, young people and families who each have their own experiences, strengths, challenges and goals.
One day might involve working alongside a parent to build confidence, develop practical parenting skills and recognise what they’re already doing well.
Another might involve helping a family establish routines, connect with the right supports or work through a challenging situation.
You could be listening to a parent having a difficult day, helping them work through what comes next or supporting a family through complex circumstances.
Sometimes, the biggest difference you make will come from simply showing up, building trust and being someone a family can rely on.

What we’re really looking for

- Genuinely care about improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
- Can build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Use a respectful, strengths-based approach when working alongside families.
- Communicate clearly, listen without judgement and meet people where they’re at.
- Can support parents to recognise their strengths, build confidence and develop practical skills.
- Understand the importance of helping children feel secure, supported and valued.
- Can work collaboratively with Child Safety, schools and community services and can connect families with practical supports, services and opportunities.

You'll Bring

- A genuine commitment to supporting children, young people and families.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage people using a respectful, strengths-based approach.
