Our Canopy Clinical Wollongong trial site is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator / Lead Clinical Research Coordinator who is ready to bring their experience and directly support our fast-paced business growth.

About the Role:

- Lead the coordination and quality of clinical trials from start-up to close-out.

- Be directly involved in onboarding, training, and quality oversight of CRCs, Study Nurses, Laboratory Technicians, and CTAs.

- Manage selected clinical trial programs from a CRC perspective.

- Support the Site Director and Principal Investigators in managing site operations.

- Help drive operational excellence across the site.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as Project Manager for assigned trials.

- Review and contribute to relevant operational procedures and training materials.

- Support day-to-day trial operations, including recruitment, screening, consent, and follow-up of participants.

- Ensure all trial activities are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP, study protocols, and regulatory requirements.

- Liaise with sponsors, CROs, ethics committees, and internal stakeholders to maintain trial integrity and compliance.

- Prepare and maintain essential documents, including source data, case report forms, and trial master files.

- Manage site initiation, monitoring visits, and close-out activities for your own trials and assigned operational staff.

- Coordinate safety reporting, adverse event documentation, and escalation procedures.

- Train and mentor junior and new staff, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.





- Assist in developing SOPs and workflows.

- Contribute to feasibility assessments and site readiness for new studies.

- Support budgeting, invoicing, and resource planning in collaboration with the Site Director.

Qualifications & Experience

- 3-5 years' experience coordinating clinical trials.

- Demonstrated experience in a clinical environment; which includes conducting and coordinating pharma sponsored clinical trials

- Demonstrated understanding of clinical trials methodology and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) requirements

- Proficiency in using CTMS and EDC systems.

- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
