We are seeking an experienced Social Worker (HP4) for an urgent locum contract in Mount Isa, QLD, starting ASAP for 4 to 5 weeks. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours per day), you will work across both inpatient and outpatient caseloads including adult and paediatric wards, the Emergency Department and adult and paediatric outpatients. You will join a young, dynamic multidisciplinary team within a supportive regional hospital environment, with accommodation provided for the length of the contract and relocation assistance on offer.
- Pay Rate: $75 - $90 per hour + Super
- Location: Mount Isa, QLD
- Contract Length: ASAP start, 4 to 5 weeks
- Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 7.5 hours per day
- Accommodation provided for the length of the contract
- Up to $1,000 (incl. GST) reimbursed to assist with relocation
- Daily flights to Brisbane and Townsville, with direct flights to Cairns through the week
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work with eligibility for AASW membership (essential)
- Demonstrated acute hospital social work experience (essential)
- Available for an ASAP start and the full contract period
- Strong psychosocial assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible to work in Australia
