Garden Helpers – Landscaping | Para Hills, Adelaide

Join a growing landscaping business with a great team, quality projects and a genuinely enjoyable work environment.

We're Garden Helpers, a growing residential landscaping business based in Para Hills, and we're looking for an experienced landscaper or leading hand to join our team.

We're a close-knit crew who take pride in producing quality work, looking after our customers and enjoying what we do.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who brings solid landscaping experience, takes ownership of their work and wants to be part of building something great.

Whether you're already leading jobs or you're an experienced landscaper ready to take that next step, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be working alongside a small, capable team of 2–4 people, delivering a variety of residential landscaping projects across Adelaide.

Your work will include:

- Retaining walls, paving and hard landscaping

- Instant turf installation and lawn preparation

- Garden beds, planting and irrigation

- Operating excavators, skid steers and other machinery

- Leading jobs and helping coordinate team members

- Communicating with customers and keeping projects running smoothly

- Organising materials and planning ahead to keep jobs moving

- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard

We're looking for someone who can confidently take responsibility on-site, solve problems and help deliver great results.

What We're Looking For

Experience matters, but attitude matters just as much.

Ideally, you'll have:

- At least 2 years of hands-on landscaping experience

- Strong practical skills across residential landscaping

- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

- Valuable communication skills with both teammates and customers

- A willingness to lead,

teach others and continue learning yourself

- A genuine eye for detail and pride in your workmanship

- A proactive attitude towards planning, organisation and doing things properly

- Experience operating landscaping machinery (highly regarded)

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who's dependable, respectful and easy to work with.

No big egos. No unnecessary drama.

We value people who turn up, get stuck in, help their teammates and take responsibility for the quality of their work.

We're also big believers in the little things that make a business run well, whether that's communicating clearly, keeping things organised or following through without needing to be chased.

What's In It For You?

We believe good people deserve to be looked after.

Here's what we offer:

- $45–$55 per hour + super, depending on experience and ability

- Full-time, Monday to Friday

- Fortnightly RDOs

- Additional performance and recognition bonuses

- A relaxed, supportive and genuinely fun team culture (just wait until you meet Jack!)

- A respectful workplace where your ideas and input are valued

- A variety of landscaping projects to keep things interesting

- Opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow into leadership

- The chance to join a growing business and play a meaningful part in its future

We're serious about the quality of our work, but that doesn't mean we take ourselves too seriously.

We want people to enjoy coming to work, have a laugh with their teammates and go home proud of what they've achieved.

Sound Like You?

If you're an experienced landscaper who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a good team and wants an opportunity to grow, we'd love to have a chat.

You don't need to tick every box. If you've got the right attitude, solid experience and a willingness to take responsibility, we want to hear from you.

Apply through SEEK with your resume and a brief cover letter telling us a little about yourself and your landscaping experience.

We look forward to meeting you!
