About the role

Do you like leading a team and still getting hands-on with the tech? We’re after a Datacentre Lead to run a small team looking after secure Defence datacentre environments. You’ll set the technical direction and keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll bring

- Demonstrated experience in enterprise datacentre management, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware virtualisation, storage platforms, networking, security controls and complex ICT environments.

- Proven experience leading technical teams, directing ICT personnel, managing workloads, providing technical guidance, and engaging effectively with ADF, APS, contractors, project teams and senior Defence stakeholders.

- Demonstrated capability to deliver within Defence, government or other highly secure ICT environments, including security compliance, integration activities, classified networks and Defence-related systems.

- NV2 clearance with the ability to work onsite in Canberra.

You’ll also need to meet the DSS Panel Level 3 requirements (Systems Architecture, Integration).

Bonus points for VMware NSX/VCF, Cisco, Palo Alto or deployable Defence network experience.
