In this job you will:
Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders, it will involve some overnight travel so flexibility with days is essential. Some away trips make up part of this position – Runs included Cairns, Townsville,
Brisbane and west of Mackay (Accommodation provided on these occasions). This is a permanent full time, Monday - Friday, day shift with regular overtime role.
This position is operating a Scania twin steer bogie drive unit with frame mounted crane – (Training provided) - utilising a dog trailer to satisfy delivery requirements.
- Work autonomously delivering gas cylinders (Packaged)
- Multi drops, both pickup and delivery.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements
- Confident with pre-start checks and restraining loads.
- Be comfortable with Manual handling and Lifting up to 25kg
- Complete documentation in a timely and correct manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow verbal and written procedures
You have the following qualities and qualifications:
- Previous pricing experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Must have Forklift license
- Organised worker and able to meet strict deadlines
- Data entry skills required
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Able to multitask and be flexible to adapt to change quickly.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure and maintain accuracy of documents.
- Fast learner with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
