Peter Rowland Group at Sovereign Hill are recruiting for casual employees to work throughout the busy Summer and functions period, November through to February, across all aspects of the venue. Sovereign Hill is a world-renowned, open-air living museum in Ballarat, welcoming visitors from across Australia and around the world. Our hospitality venues deliver high-quality food, beverage, and service in a unique historical setting.
Key responsibilities
- Functions & Events Staff – Assisting with event setup, food and beverage service, weddings, corporate functions and event pack-down
- Food & Beverage Attendants – Providing friendly and qualified service across our cafés, restaurants and event spaces
- Bar Staff & Baristas – Delivering quality beverage service across our hospitality venues and functions
- Store People – Supporting our hospitality operations with stock handling,
deliveries and event preparation
About you
- Motivated and show initiative
- Keen to learn new things
- Provide genuine and warm customer service
- Have a great attitude and are passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Some hospitality experience preferred, however willing to train for the right attitude and ability to connect and engage with guests
- Valid employee working with children check required
