PGC Resources is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Recruiter to join our Queensland team!

We specialise in providing skilled workforces across the crane, rigging, mining, construction and industrial sectors, supporting everything from local crane hire through to major projects and shutdowns across Australia.

With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of recruitment and help us continue delivering quality people to our clients.

About the Role

This is a hands on recruitment role where you'll be responsible for finding, engaging and securing skilled workers for a diverse range of clients, projects and shutdowns.

No sales or business development! This is a recruitment focused position, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best - sourcing quality candidates, building strong relationships and delivering great recruitment outcomes.

You'll work closely with our team to ensure we're always one step ahead of upcoming workforce requirements.

While recruitment will be your main focus, we're a close knit team where everyone pitches in. You'll also have the opportunity to assist with allocations, onboarding, compliance and mobilisation.

The role also includes participation in a rotating after-hours on-call roster, providing support to our clients and workforce outside standard business hours, with an additional allowance paid for this responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing

- Take the lead in sourcing and recruiting quality candidates across the crane, rigging, mining, construction and shutdown sectors.
- Get creative with your recruitment strategies, utilising social media, database searches and networking to uncover great talent.
- Build strong relationships with skilled workers,



keeping them engaged and coming back for their next opportunity.
- Get on the phone, connect with candidates and uncover the skills, experience and qualities that make them the right fit.
- Stay one step ahead by building talent pools and identifying candidates for upcoming projects and major shutdowns.
- Work closely with our team to tackle challenging vacancies and deliver the right people, often within tight timeframes.
- Take ownership of your recruitment pipeline, from initial candidate engagement through to placement.
- Think outside the box, find solutions and explore new ways to attract quality candidates in a competitive market.
- Keep our recruitment database accurate and up to date, ensuring candidate qualifications, experience and availability are recorded.
- Jump in and support the wider team with allocations, onboarding, compliance and mobilisation when needed.
- Participate in the rotating on-call roster, assisting with after-hours workforce and client requirements.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment, takes initiative and isn't afraid to pick up the phone and make things happen.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous recruitment experience, preferably within labour hire, mining, construction, shutdowns or industrial services.
- A proactive approach to candidate sourcing and building solid talent pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with candidates and clients.
- Strong screening skills,



with the ability to ask the right questions and assess candidate suitability.
- Confidence in making decisions, solving problems and managing competing priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership and contribute to a busy team.
- A versatile attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
