Demco Electrical is seeking qualified and reliable Electricians to join our Gladstone team in permanent full-time positions.
With a multiple commercial contract secured for the next 12–18 months and further projects in the pipeline, we’re looking for people to become long-term members of our growing team.
About the role
You’ll work on commercial electrical projects, with responsibilities including:
- Installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems, lighting and power.
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications.
- Coordinating with supervisors, builders and other trades.
- Identifying and rectifying electrical faults.
- Maintaining safe work practices and completing site documentation.
- Recording job progress, materials and timesheets accurately.
- Supporting and supervising apprentices as required.
The positions are based in Gladstone. Travel to other Demco project locations and working away may be required.
What we’re looking for
- Current Queensland electrical work licence.
- Construction White Card and current driver’s licence.
- Experience in commercial electrical installations.
- Ability to read plans and work independently or within a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Reliability, clear communication and a professional attitude.
