Workfast is currently seeking an experienced Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business specialising in the design and production of packaging equipment and solutions used across a range of industries.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment, working with modern production equipment as part of a supportive and safety-focused team.

The position offers a 4-day roster, working a 38-hour week, with rotating day and afternoon shifts.

Initially, the role is expected to run for 3–4 months, with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.

About the Role Your duties will include:

- Operating production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Assisting with the assembly and manufacture of industrial packaging products.
- Monitoring production processes and maintaining quality standards.
- Performing general factory and production duties.
- Handling materials and assisting with product movement.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily targets.

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Valid Forklift ticket (LF)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.




- Experience operating machinery or production equipment.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- A reliable attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work rotating day and afternoon shifts.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
