The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing mortgage broking business, which forms part of an integrated professional services group offering accounting and financial planning services.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Broker to take a leadership role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mortgage broking business, leading the team and driving its continued growth and success.

The successful candidate will bring extensive industry experience, established lender relationships, a strong understanding of business operations and a proven ability to lead and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the business.

- Leading, managing and supporting the mortgage broking team.

- Managing an established mortgage broking portfolio.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, group team members and lenders.

- Providing tailored lending solutions to residential and commercial clients.

- Managing loan applications from initial enquiry through to settlement.

- Ensuring compliance with responsible lending obligations and industry requirements.

- Supporting and mentoring brokers to achieve individual and business objectives.

- Identifying opportunities to improve business performance, processes and profitability.





- Contributing to the strategic direction and long-term growth of the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Extensive experience in mortgage broking.

- A proven track record of generating and settling lending business.

- Previous experience leading, managing and mentoring a team.

- Ability to identify business opportunities, drive growth and improve overall business performance.

- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

- Strong knowledge of lender products, policies and processes.

- A customer-focused approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding outcomes.

- The ability to work autonomously, make decisions and take ownership.

- Relevant industry qualifications and accreditation.
