Support Worker role based in Toukley, transitioning to Newcastle. You will support a man in his 60s living with a psychosocial disability and complex PTSD. The role includes community access, in-home support, gym attendance, bushwalking, and transporting the participant and his dog. You will build a trusting relationship through transparent communication and a calm, respectful approach.

Key responsibilities

- Provide community access and support to participate in meaningful activities
- Provide in-home support with everyday routines
- Attend the gym and bushwalking alongside the participant
- Transport the participant and his dog
- Build a trusting relationship through clear communication and a calm, respectful approach

About you

- Reliable and engaged
- Male at request of Participant
- Active, patient and consistent
- Enjoys getting involved in activities
- Comfortable having a dog in your vehicle
- Available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
