Price and Sons Mechanical Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and organised Admin / Reception professional to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in our Narangba, QLD office and represents a vital point of contact for our clients, visitors and internal staff. As Admin / Reception, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring our office runs smoothly and professionally. This position is integral to maintaining excellent customer service standards and supporting the broader operations of our mechanical services business.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and welcoming clients, visitors and delivery personnel in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering telephone calls, taking messages and directing enquiries to appropriate team members
- Managing the reception desk and coordinating appointment bookings and schedules
- Processing and filing administrative documentation in an organised and timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records and databases, including customer information and correspondence
- Preparing routine correspondence, reports and documents using office software
- Ordering and managing office supplies and materials
- Assisting with general administrative support tasks as required
- Ensuring the reception area remains clean, welcoming and well-maintained
- Supporting the team with scheduling, invoicing and other back-office administrative duties

What we're looking for

- Experience in administration, reception or a similar office support role




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors and colleagues at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and data entry
- Professional demeanour with a welcoming and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
- Experience in the mechanical services, trades or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
