Experienced Sales Assistant – Women’s Fashion & Styling

About the role

Join our well-established family business in a busy boutique environment, offering women’s fashion from swimwear and everyday dressing through to Mother of the Bride and Groom outfits, formalwear and black-tie event styling.

This is a hands-on role centred on excellent face-to-face customer service. You’ll build relationships with our clientele, understand their wardrobe needs and offer thoughtful, confident advice for everyday life and special occasions.

You must be available Wednesdays and Thursdays each week , with flexibility for frequent additional shifts.

Key responsibilities

Welcome customers and build rapport through warm, attentive service

Help customers find clothing that suits their shape, fit, lifestyle and occasion

Put together complete outfits, including accessories, for everyday dressing and special events

Provide patient, personalised service during swimwear fittings and occasionwear appointments

Assist customers who need help trying on garments, including those with limited mobility, with discretion and respect

Drive sales through attentive service and strong product knowledge





Work confidently both independently and as part of a busy team

About you

Previous experience in face-to-face sales or customer service is strongly preferred

Experience in women’s fashion retail, occasionwear or personal styling is highly regarded

A positive eye for fit, colour and outfit coordination

A warm, patient manner and the confidence to understand and respond to different customer needs

Reliable, proactive and comfortable managing several customers while maintaining personal service

Available Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility to work additional days

We’re a family business, established for 21 years, with a fun, stable, long-standing team and very low staff turnover. We’re looking for someone to grow with us and our beautiful team in an ongoing, long-term role, rather than a short-term position.

We offer generous staff discounts and the potential for the role to expand to additional regular days.

Availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays is essential, with flexibility for extra shifts. The ability to work one or two Sundays per month would also be highly regarded.
