The Role

Reporting to the Manager,you’llsupport weekday operations bymaintainingcleanliness and kitchen hand services in our homes, ensuring high standards are met.OurSupport Services staffare integral to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering high-quality services. We are currently looking for a Casual Cleaning, & Kitchen Hand to join our team who are passionate about making a difference.

What you will do

- Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
- Assistingthe chef with meal preparation,cleaningand general kitchen duties
- Distribution of meals to residents & dining room services
- All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility
- Completing required documentation and reporting
- Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished
- Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling

What you will bring

- Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently holdanNDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
