About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Hand to join our Food Services team on a casual basis. The Kitchen Hand plays a vital role in supporting the effective and high-quality operation of the College's Food Services department, undertaking food handling, catering tasks and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of all kitchen and dishwashing equipment.
- Keep loading dock, chemical area and other areas clean and tidy.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and proper storage.
- Assist with general food preparation
- Maintain a positive attitude and a strong commitment to supporting our students, boarders and staff.
- Demonstratestrong communicationskills to effectively liaise with colleagues.

What You Bring

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Prior work experience in food services industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service and effective interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and chemical handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.
