About the Role

As Online & Marketplace Manager you would own and execute the digital commerce strategy across owned online stores, marketplace channels and connected commerce platforms. The role drives revenue growth, profitability, customer experience and operational performance, while ensuring digital channels are integrated and managed effectively across the business.

Working closely with Product, Marketing, Category, IT, Supply Chain and Operations, you will ensure products, inventory, pricing, promotions and content are optimised across all digital platforms. You will also lead platform performance, channel expansion and digital trading execution to deliver seamless customer experiences and strong commercial outcomes.

Develop and execute the online and marketplace strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition and channel expansion across owned and third-party platforms.

Own performance across online stores and marketplace channels, including sales, margin, conversion and customer experience objectives.

Monitor and optimise key measures including revenue, profitability, traffic, conversion, customer acquisition, average order value and marketplace performance.

Lead the integration, onboarding and optimisation of digital commerce platforms, marketplaces and new channel opportunities, ensuring scalable and efficient operations.

Manage strategic relationships with marketplace, platform and technology partners to achieve service, platform performance and growth objectives.

Drive continuous improvement across digital commerce platforms, marketplace operations, customer experience and business processes through data-driven insights and innovation.





Develop and execute digital trading plans, promotional calendars and major sales events to maximise traffic, conversion and commercial performance.

Own product merchandising, content strategy and customer journey optimisation to improve product discoverability, engagement and conversion.

Collaborate with Category Managers and Product Managers to ensure online assortments, pricing and promotional activity support customer needs and growth opportunities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with Product, Marketing, Category, IT, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure products, inventory, pricing, promotions and content are effectively managed across all digital channels.

Align internal teams and external partners around digital commerce strategies, platform capabilities, commercial objectives and operational delivery.

About You

Demonstrated eCommerce and marketplace experiences in online retail, telecommunications, consumer electronics or a related industry.

Proven success managing online sales channels and marketplaces, with responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, customer experience and commercial performance.

Strong understanding of digital commerce platforms and integrated technology solutions, including eCommerce platforms, PIM, OMS, pricing, inventory and order management systems.

Experience leading platform integrations, marketplace onboarding and digital channel expansion projects with technology and operational teams.

Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret sales, profitability, customer and conversion data and turn insights into action.





Experience developing online trading strategies, promotional calendars, product launches and major sales events.

Strong knowledge of digital merchandising, customer journey optimisation, search performance, content management and conversion improvement.

Well-developed project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, with experience using analytics, reporting and business intelligence tools to support decisions and performance improvement.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Experience in telecommunications, mobile accessories, consumer electronics, technology products or omnichannel retail will be highly regarded.
