We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive the growth of our Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) business in Australia. Based in Canning Vale, Perth, this role offers the opportunity to develop key customer relationships, identify recent business opportunities and contribute to the continued success of MTU Maintenance Australia.

MTU Maintenance Australia Pty Ltd, based in Perth, is the regional contact for On-Site and Field Service MRO solutions for Aero Engines (CF34 and CFM56) and Industrial Gas Turbines (LM2500 and LM6000) in the Asia-Pacific region. As part of the global Maintenance On-Site Service network, we have been combining technological expertise with in-depth experience for over a decade to implement individual solutions directly at our customers' sites. We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Manager based at our MTU office in Canning Vale, Western Australia.

About the role:

We are looking for a Sales Manager to develop and grow our industrial gas turbine business in Australia, with a focus on the LM2500 and LM6000 market. You will identify new business opportunities, build long‑term customer relationships and work closely with our commercial and operational teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. This is an opportunity to shape regional sales activities and strengthen MTU Maintenance Australia’s position in the Australian IGT market.

Key responsibilities:





Develop and implement sales plans for the Australian LM2500 and LM6000 market.

Identify new customers and business opportunities, and secure new contracts.

Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers to support repeat business and customer retention.

Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop suitable service solutions and commercial proposals.

Lead sales opportunities from initial contact through to contract award, including commercial negotiations in line with company approvals.

Coordinate with Customer Account Managers and operational teams to ensure a smooth handover of new business.

Monitor market developments, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.

Lead the creation and negotiation of customer contracts, ensuring commercial, legal, and operational requirements are aligned while protecting MTU Maintenance’s business interests.

Contribute to sales forecasts, business planning and reporting, and support the resolution of customer issues.

About you:

Proven experience in technical sales or business development, ideally within industrial gas turbines, power generation,



oil and gas or a related industry.

Knowledge of the Australian industrial market; experience with LM2500 or LM6000 engines is highly regarded.

A track record of developing customer relationships and securing new business.

Robust commercial awareness, negotiation and communication skills.

A structured, proactive and customer-focused approach to work.

Ability to work effectively with technical, commercial and operational teams.

Willingness to travel as required.
