We are seeking an enthusiastic and competentScience Teacher to join ourSecondary school team in afull-time, permanent positioncommencing 1 January 2027 .

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Provide high-quality Secondary teaching and takeresponsibility for student learning and achievement.
- Model a biblical understanding of Christian Educationaligned with the College’s values, aims and practices.
- Participate enthusiastically in the spiritual, academic,sporting, cultural and social life of the College.
- Remain current in your field through ongoing personal andprofessional development.
- Recognise and respond to differing student abilitiesthrough effective teaching and support.
- Adhere to College policies, procedures and professionalexpectations.

Essential Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christand is an active member of a Christian Church, living inaccordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith andEducational Objectives.
- Secondary teaching qualifications and a sound understandingof assessment, evaluation, and effective teachingpractice.




- To demonstrate evidence of personal competence in theirsubject area through the presentation of folio’s workbooks orteaching notes at the interview.
- Ability to apply diverse teaching, learning, and evaluationstrategies to support student learning and achievement.
- Communication, teamwork, and digital skills, with acommitment to positive relationships and Collegeinvolvement.
- Current Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia(TRBWA) registration and a valid Working with Children Check(WWCC) or willingness to apply.

Desirable Selection Criteria:

- To have undertaken formal studies in the area of ChristianEducation, attend a Christian College or be familiar withrelevant books and articles on Christian Education.
- To have experience in the advertised position.
- To have experience in using a digital learning managementsystem as a teaching and learning tool.
